Primus has always been the warped brainchild of Les Claypool. Part of the brilliance of Claypool is his ability to come up with truly awesome cover art that capture the quirkiness of the music. For the group’s 1990 disc “Frizzle Fry” the band hit the nail on the head with the depiction of a melting head in a frying pan. The artwork perfectly sums up classic the bass heavy tunes on this album like “John The Fisherman” and “Too Many Puppies”. |
